Most modern smartphones support multiple eSIM profiles, allowing you to easily switch between them as needed. When you initially set up an eSIM, your device typically assigns a default label automatically. However, you can personalize this label later for easier identification.
Follow these simple steps to update your eSIM label on iOS and Android devices:
For iOS Devices
- Open Settings.
- Tap Cellular or Mobile Data.
- Under the SIMs section, select the eSIM you want to rename.
- Tap Cellular Plan Label.
- Tap the current label to edit it.
- Enter your preferred custom name.
For Samsung Galaxy Devices
- Launch Settings.
- Tap Connections.
- Select SIM Card Manager.
- Choose the eSIM profile you'd like to rename.
- Tap on the eSIM name or profile.
- Enter your desired label.
- Tap Done to save your changes.
For Google Pixel Devices
- Open Settings.
- Tap Network & Internet.
- Select SIMs, then pick the eSIM you wish to edit.
- Tap the pencil icon.
- Enter your new eSIM label (you can also change the label's color if desired).
- Tap Save to apply the changes.
Your eSIM should now display the new label on your device. Feel free to update the label as many times as you'd like — it’s a quick way to keep your profiles organized.
