Your eSIM works only within its designated coverage area. For example, a USA eSIM operates only in USA. If used outside this zone, it won’t connect until you are in the correct region.

  1. Verify Installation
    Ensure your eSIM is properly installed. Check in your device settings under SIMs — it should be visible and labeled distinctly. If not, consult the guide: “Why can’t I find my eSIM in device settings?”
  2. Follow Connection Steps
    Make sure the eSIM is activated and selected for data, calls, and texts as applicable. Refer to your installation guide in the app under My eSIMs > Details or Connect to Network.
  3. Disable Airplane Mode
    Airplane mode disables all wireless signals. Turn it off, then wait a few seconds for your device to search for networks.
  4. Review APN Settings
    Some eSIMs need manual APN entry. Check your instructions—if necessary, input the APN details in your device’s network settings.
  5. Enable Data Roaming
    If required, turn on data roaming in your device settings. For iOS, do this per SIM; for Android, it applies globally.
  6. Select Network Manually
    If automatic connection fails, choose a network manually from the available list in your device’s network settings.
